Vitalik Buterin recently wrote a long article on the X platform defending the Ethereum Foundation's frequent sale of Ethereum. Vitalik Buterin stated that the proceeds from the sale of these Ethereum coins are intended to be used to pay developers and researchers to ensure the stable operation of the Ethereum network. He emphasized that Ethereum's PoS mechanism enables transactions to be confirmed in less than 30 seconds, with low transaction fees, and the network has remained uninterrupted since 2016. It also supports the privacy function of zero knowledge proofs. He also counterattacked his critics, demanding that they "give some respect".

The foundation does not pledge Ether to avoid 'official choice'

Some people suggest that the Ethereum Foundation pledges all of its Ethereum to generate revenue to pay for operating costs, rather than selling it. However, Vitalik Buterin explained that the Ethereum Foundation hopes to avoid being forced to make an "official choice" in the event of a controversial hard fork in the future.
